What is Hepa?

HEPA stands for High Efficiency Particulate Air and is a technology developed in the 1940s to filter radioactive particles that pollute.

HEPA filters are made up of randomly arranged fibers and into a carpet-like layer, these fibers are usually made of synthetic fiberglass, they are about 0.5 to 2.0 μm in diameter.

HEPA filter is capable of removing 99.9% of impurities in the air with sizes as small as 0.3 µm.
